I would like to share my experience with this abridged book that represents the dynamic basics of the original Teachings of Abraham. The credit of this wonderful compilation goes to Jerry and Esther Hicks. They have come out with an amazing compilation of the original teachings of Abraham.

I never knew that I would be benefited by this book so much. The experience was awesome!! I learnt the way all things in the universe are presented to human beings via this omnipresent law of the universe, the ?law of attraction?. I would love to read this book over and over again. The reason is that I can learn so much about enhancing the personality of an individual via the ?law of attraction?. Here the teachings of Abraham are the main source of motivation and inspiration. Believe it, this stuff really works!

I still remember the time when I was going through ?part one? of this book. The section ?Something Began breathing me? and ?My nose spells the Alphabet? was where I found the real start of my journey. I felt as if I can now reach my destination. The chapters actually provided a thrilling experience to me.

I was quite impressed with the section known as ?something began breathing me?. Here, Esther for the first time realizes the importance of self improvement and generation of ecstasy within oneself via breathing. Esther tries to breathe in a quiet room and focuses on his breathing process. He controls his wandering mind via consistently focusing back on his breathing.

Esther suddenly realizes the powerful contact with Abraham at this stage and Jerry could visualize the difference in the sound of Esther?s breathing. It was a pure joy for Jerry to see Esther in a state of ecstasy.

The best part about this section that enchanted me a lot is when Esther mentions that his irrational fears vanished within some time. These fears have been a part of his life for many years and had no actual basis in his real life experience. These fears were released Esther was filled with a special source of energy. I found this part of the book as the most interesting one because people, these days are preoccupied with many thoughts that they want to get rid of but become helpless due to certain unavoidable circumstances.

The teachings of Abraham have actually been helpful in releasing these fears and apprehensions to provide meaningful life and enhance the personality of an individual.

The section ?My Nose spells the alphabet? is one of my favorites. The emphasis is on the experience of Esther as a disciple of teachings of Abraham. I was highly impressed with the words exclaimed by Esther to Jerry, ?Jerry, I?m spelling the alphabet with my nose?.

Here, the intense, waves of excitement moves all through this body and his nose spells the following Alphabets:
?I am Abraham. I am your spiritual guide. I love you. I am here to work with you?.

The best part here is the way Esther and Jerry were establishing contact with Abraham. I simply loved it when Jerry started recording her notebook and Esther translated all with his nose. Here, Abraham answer Jerry?s question for hours together. It was a wonderful experience for me to read.

The reading experience was so wonderful that I cannot even imagine the kind of thrill and sensation Jerry and Esther must have felt when they were successful in establishing a contact with Abraham.

I am really happy with the kind of knowledge I accumulated via reading this book. ?The law of attraction? may be an old concept but I came to know that the powerful basics of the teachings of Abraham can wonderfully work towards enhancing the personality of an individual and enlightening him with the importance of having a spiritual guide in his life.

According to Esther, he started his journey to spiritualism via focusing on breathing. This was difficult for him in the beginning but proved to be a simpler task when he had a successful contact with Abraham.

I am falling short of adjectives to appreciate the power and teachings of this wonderful book. I have been successful in learning about the omnipresent laws that rule this universe I have also enlightened myself with the method of making these ubiquitous laws to my advantage.

In short, I have imbibed and understood everything that happens in my life and the lives of those with whom I am associated with.

Esther and Jerry Hicks have beautifully brought out the real essence of the powerful teachings of Abraham via this book. I am really happy to have spent my time on this book. It has created a great impact on my personality. I never imagined that the basics of the teachings of Abraham would transform my personality in a positive manner.

Absolutely incredible! If I had enough time to read one book twice, The Graffiti Sculptor by Latham Shinder would be the one. The emotional story about a streetwise young sculptor with a power to heal people with her sculptures has mesmerized me. I am all praise for Latham Shinder?s debut novel. The novel has portrayed the Character of Miranda Tate as someone unique. I am a voracious reader and have not found such a character in the last fifteen years of my study in literature. The irony is that this versatile character can actually heal people with her sculptures but herself suffers from breast cancer.

The character of Miranda is real. I would simply love to see the movie based on this novel.

One of my personal favorites from the novel remains the torture and physical abuse Billie Hannah goes through in her married life. Just like all the traditional ladies from the past, Billie doesn?t mind getting beaten up by her husband. She walks up as if nothing has happened to her just after all the spanking and bashing is over. The twist follows when she makes up her mind to leave her husband on the advice of Miranda.

She visits Miranda and says ? ?I abandoned Richard. That?s what you told me; abandon the piece of shit. I think you said?. The moment where Miranda tells Billie Hannah about her breast cancer is also touching. I simply love the way Shinder has explained the moment.

Miranda says to herself ? ?I don?t know why I tell Billie about the cancer. Maybe its? because I?ve wanted to tell someone for weeks and telling a stranger, an enemy even, is easier than telling a friend, which I?m appalling short of at the moment.?

Here, Miranda also realizes that Billie has herself faced a tough phase in her life.

Overall, the opening phase of the novel was awesome and that?s what kept me glued to it till the end.
